Description for the AI

In trying to quickly get an AI up to speed I thought this might get some points across:

Well, firstly, Has-Needs is a system I created for post disaster that is actually meant to provide digital sovereignty into the recovery phase.

I reasoned that any disaster logistics system needed to treat every individual as an autonomous unit that could quickly join into groups as needed for various purposes, because you don’t know who will survive or what collective action must be taken, but we know these two things will happen.

Having been a crisis mapper since 2010 Haiti earthquake, I learned that ALL aid orgs and the governance they advise (meaning UNOCHA and the world over) refuse to accept citizen inputs as trustworthy. They ALL also have a serious issue with getting voluntary participation in data initiatives and the academics are advising that drones and social media ‘sentiment analysis’ were valuable. I however, was a Paramedic and battle trained radar operator, and understood the importance of situational awareness and self determination in trauma recovery.

So, right there and then, I set about making a blockchain solution that each individual controls, and an anonymous Has and Needs system that offers match ‘candidates’ that humans then choose, thus creating a new synonym in the evolving ontology.

I chose to record only Value Exchanges to emergently cement the idea that life is a circular flow of giving and receiving. This sets the stage for future interactions with governance and commerce, to expect and only accept value exchange even for “meaningless” data like location and sentiment.

One can pool Needs and Has’ with their local Community, making it easier for Aid and governance to respond to the whole group rather than deal with individual requests. This self-organization also sets the psychological stage for reciprocal interactions within the community and collective expectation with aid and governance outside the community.

Having a ‘valid voice’ is possible because blockchain creates a ‘provably unique’ human that can then be trusted by aid response. Since the data is owned and controlled by individuals, they can designate their requests to aid and governance for general display, showing the response rate over time.

I call a “Has” a resource that one has to share. Being open ended, the categories and ontology all build on the fly, eliminating maintenance, always operating on relevance to things that have been recorded on chain.

To make something “True” only needs two parties to have accepted a standardized Smart Contract (eUTXO “Need” connected to NFT “Has”) which means two individuals vouch for each other. The Smart Contract content itself only needs to be identical in each chain, so it could also be entirely encrypted and the hashes would then be matched. Over time, each individual chain is built-up from these mutual “vouched for” relationships. As a receipt, it is the final record, so there is no arbitration or negotiation process, saving a great deal of headache and maintenance.

Since situational awareness is key to being self directed, all action or status changes to a message notifies the originator. An emergent benefit of this design is to eliminate repeat requests for information, which can collapse a system entirely. Being open-ended, requests and offers can be anything imaginable including training, physical labor, mentorship, physical goods etc.

The system itself provides abstracted but highly detailed sociological information. I treat location and one’s personal wallet address as “sacred” and never to be divulged, but the actions overall are viewable. This creates a baseline to compare progress and details where cultures and supply lines overlap.

After the Sovereign individual, I recognize Communities of consensus, which can have sub-communities. Communities have Has and Needs of their own in addition to the pooled ones designated by members. The Community mechanism functions at all scales, providing a fractal aspect to overall architecture.

Inputs, outputs, and bidirectional feedback systems ‘close the loop’ for interactions at any level and about any conceivable human interaction, while providing autonomous digital sovereignty, thereby capturing value for the most destitute, while protecting social growth through systemic empowerment and accountability. Governance becomes a customer of citizen data with clearly articulated value exchange agreements.

This same relationship applies to commerce, enabling a Bazaar model of marketing, which is to say marketing is through anonymous discovery and one to one relationships. Since individuals can substantiate their claims of influence and past experiences, vendors can use incentives to attract their key demographic without need for the entire exploitative data “middleman” industry.

The Personal Chain is meant to also store medical records, bona fides, educational background, and even social media posts. In this scenario, data portability is inherent, HIPAA is respected without cost to care providers, as all data access is through one’s personal API and granting temporary permission for set interactions with each client (doctor, facebook etc), ensuring that one can disconnect if bad actors gain control of the local infrastructure.

Among the emergent benefits of digital sovereignty, it is my hope that political roles will attract “checklist achievers” rather than hyperbolic, promise making, funding organizers.
